The Women's Ministries at First Baptist Church offer a variety of ministries and activities to opportunities for all ages of women to grow stronger in their walk with the Lord.
- Ladies' Bible studies are offered at different times throughout the week to give women
the opportunity to study and understand God's Word. We strengthen, encourage, and
challenge one another to reach for God's best, knowing there is no limit to what
He can accomplish in a willing heart.
- Titus 2 clearly commands a ministry by women to women. The strength of the
ministry of discipleship is that women are learning to apply Biblical truth to their
lives and are building relationships with Christ.
- Growth groups are smaller groups setting where women meet to study God's
Word, keep accountable and encourage each other through prayer for deeper spiritual lives.
- Ladies' Life Design provides an effective opportunity for outreach. Women
enjoy dinner in a lovely atmosphere with a variety of creative features, music
and a speaker that clearly presents what a relationship with Christ is.
- Girl's Night Out presents an opportunity for fellowship and encouragement.
The goal is to get to know one another better and to build each other up in the faith. (I Thess. 5:11).
- Ladies' retreats offer an experience that equips women to maintain their vital
relationship with God. This time of encouragement and renewal, if applied positively, will be
a building block in the process of our women's spiritual lives.
- Ladies' Missionary Outreach is a ministry to encourage our missionary families
through prayer, work projects and encouragement in the form of cards and notes. A
variety of speakers, mission trip presentations and news from our missionaries keep
our meetings relevant and informative.
- Prayer groups for the purpose of praying for the ministry and the people of
First Baptist Church meet weekly to pray for God's direction and strengthening.
- Ladies' softball provides another way of getting to know one another better and build relationships in an informal setting while having fun.
