The purposes of Men's Ministries at First Baptist Church are to influence and guide men to be devoted followers of the Lord Jesus Christ, who daily experience transformation, develop and nurture relationships, and grow as leaders. As these purposes are fulfilled in men's lives, it will impact their family, church, workplace and all of their surrounding relationships and spheres of influence for the glory of God.
The Men's Ministries at First Baptist Church take on a number of forms and provide men of all ages with opportunities to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and share their journey with one another.
- Men's Small Group Bible Studies are offered at various times throughout the week to accommodate
men's schedules. As God's Word is opened and engaged, it is our goal to not simply increase in
knowledge but to apply the truth and experience Spirit-led transformation.
- TNT Partnerships are a commitment between 2 or 3 men who seek to develop a mutual
relationship in Christ through which they can assist one another in their journey toward Christ-likeness.
Please contact Pastor Chris if you would like to receive further information or be connected with a TNT Partner.
- Ironmen Breakfast is held from 7:30-9:00 am on the first Saturday of the month September-May in
Memorial Hall. Ironmen begins with a time of fellowship and breakfast, followed by a devotional from God's Word.
- The Ironmen Golf Tournament provides the avid to the occasional golfer the opportunity to compete
in a captain and crew format tournament. Following 18 holes and a hearty meal, golfers are encouraged and
challenged by a speaker who clearly presents what it means to know Jesus Christ on a personal level and live
life walking with Him.
- Early Morning Prayer Group meets each Wednesday morning at 6:30 am. This is a great opportunity
for men to come together to pray for the concerns of one another, our church, and our nation. This time of
prayer usually last about an hour with donuts and coffee provided.
- Men's Softball provides an opportunity for men to fellowship, engage in teamwork, build
relationships and develop spiritual maturity both on and off the field.
