First Baptist of Johnson City

It is our desire to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Mark 16:15) and make disciples in His name (Matthew 28:19-20) in the local context of our church's ministry, across our nation, and internationally (Acts 1:8). In order to engage in the fulfillment of the Great Commission beyond our local sphere of influence, FBJC partners with like-mined servants of God - Partners in Global Ministry -who will impact specific ethnic, cultural, and sub-cultural groups through preaching, teaching, evangelism, discipleship, counseling, and the establishment of New Testament churches. It is our desire at FBJC to faithfully support our Partners in Global Ministry through prayer, encouragement, financial support, joint partnership in special projects and ministries, sending ministry teams to co-labor with them on their field of service; and through our faith participation in the preaching the Gospel and making disciples of Jesus Christ here at home.
