Pastor Joel was born and raised locally in Nichols, New York. He graduated from Messiah College in 1990 with a BA in Sports Medicine. For the 13 years following, Joel served as an athletic trainer for two Harrisburg, PA area high schools during which time he dedicated his talents and leadership to the youth of his local church in Shiremanstown, PA.
First Baptist officially welcomed him as their Assistant Pastor of Youth in the spring of 2005. The teens in the church enjoy not only his biblically-based teaching, but his inexhaustible energy and enthusiasm for living a Christ-centered life. He is currently pursuing a Master of divinity from Baptist Bible Seminary in Clarks Summit, PA. Pastor Joel's passion is to see the teens live a life of Godly influence and impact their world for Christ. |
