- support parents in bringing up children filled with the Holy Spirit.
- provide a safe place for building relationships where kids can be kids!
- A fully equipped nursery for 0 - 2 yrs old, including a nursing room for mothers.
This area is fully staffed with child protection in place with the use of matching wristbands
and tabs as well as a pager system to contact parents at any time.
- Sunday School classes are offered for:
- Little Learners (2 - 3 yrs old)
- Beginners (Pre-K and K)
- Primaries (1st - 3rd grade)
- Juniors (4th - 6th grade)
- Children's Church is also provided each week during the morning services for children 2yrs. old through Kindergarten.
- VeggieConnections is our new children's church during the evening service for children 3yrs. old through Kindergarten.
- Kid's Choir is a time for the children in kindergarten through 8th grade to not only sing but to
learn valuable lessons through the songs. They have special opportunities to sing during the Sunday morning
services and once a year they will perform a musical program for all to see.
- AWANA brings a fresh fun look to children's ministry every Wednesday night for children
ages 3 through 6th grades. The children are encouraged to memorize verses, join in games and
participate with other area churches in Bible quizzing and the AWANA Games.
- Vacation Bible School is a week of total fun. Once a year, First Baptist Church will take
a week in the summer to play games, sing, make crafts and have a Bible time. The week is usually
wrapped up with an afternoon of all out fun in a picnic and game time for all the children and their families.
- A variety of other activities are planned throughout the year to assist them in their
spiritual growth as they continue to grow physically and move into our Jr. High Youth Group.
- K4J – Kids for Jesus introduces our new “junior church” for kids in 1st -6th grade during the 2nd service.
Kids will have the opportunity to come and worship Jesus in Spirit and Truth.
